Why ChatGPT May Not Find Your Business

A high Google rank does not mean an AI tool can name, trust, or cite your business. Your content needs a clear shape.

The note

People can now search with Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Your pages should make sense in all of them.

The tools are different. The basic need is the same. They need clear facts and useful answers.

Start with the buyer's question

A page should answer one real question. Put the short answer near the top.

Then add proof, limits and useful detail. Do not hide the answer inside a long sales pitch.

  • What is the service?
  • Who is it for?
  • What does it fix?
  • What do you get?
  • What does it cost?
  • What happens next?

Use one name for one thing

Do not change a service name on every page. A stable name helps people and machines link the facts.

Main point

Clear beats clever when someone needs an answer.

Show where facts came from

Use dates on time-based facts. Link to the source. Say when a number is a target or guide.

Case studies need the same care. Say what was live, what was tested and what was still in build.

Check the result

Run the same set of questions each month. Save the answers and sources.

AI answers can change. Look for a clear trend, not one lucky mention.

  • Check if your name appears
  • Check if the facts are right
  • Check which pages are used
  • Fix errors at the source
  • Keep a dated record

Bring us the messy bit.

We build websites, apps, and AI tools. Start with the part that wastes time or blocks growth.
