Apps and bespoke tools

Quoting systems, mobile apps and archives, built around the way your business really works. AI where it genuinely helps.

Who it's for Draft

Who it's for

Product businesses with a job that lives in spreadsheets, email and people's heads: quoting, configuring, teaching, keeping records.

Most of what we build sits next to the shop and makes it work better.

The problem Draft

What usually goes wrong

Off-the-shelf software is built for the average business, and makers rarely are. A quote for embroidered workwear depends on stitches, placements and quantities. A heritage brand's archive goes back centuries.

When the tool does not fit, the team works around it, and that costs time and orders.

What we build

Tools built around the way your business really works. AI where it genuinely helps.

  • Quoting systems

Quick, accurate quotes for made-to-order work. We built one for Emporium Embroidery's factory floor and a quoting tool for NameDroppers.

  • Configurators

Let customers build a product online and see what they will get before they order.

  • Mobile apps

iOS and Android apps, like the embroidery school with live courses we are building for Hand & Lock.

  • Digital archives

A company's history and work, recorded and searchable, like the Hand & Lock archive now in development.

  • AI, described plainly

Used where it makes a job faster or better. The Hand & Lock archive will power Ask Bunty, their AI guide.

  • Tools that talk to each other

Your shop, stock, CRM and inbox linked, so information is entered once.

Most bespoke tools take 8–16 weeks once the scope is agreed. Larger apps and systems are usually built in stages and can take longer.

Fixed scope, fixed price

How a project runs

  1. Talk

Tell us what isn't working. We'll say plainly whether we can help.

  2. Plan

A fixed scope and a fixed price, agreed before any work starts.

  3. Build

We build, test and launch, protecting your sales and search rankings.

  4. Stay

We look after it afterwards, and we're only ever a phone call away.

PoleBrand is a father-and-son business. When you ring, you speak to the people who built your site. No account managers, no ticket queues, and fixed prices agreed before we start.

What it costs Draft

Fixed scope, fixed price.

Every tool has a fixed scope and a fixed price, agreed before any work starts.

For something new, we start with system scoping: a short piece of work to map how the job happens today and what the tool must do.

System scoping starts from £2,500. Bespoke tools and applications typically start from £10,000.

Questions Draft

Common questions

Do we need AI?

Often not. We only suggest it where it makes a job faster or better, and we explain plainly what it does.

Can a tool work with our Shopify store?

Yes. Most of what we build sits beside a shop: quoting tools, configurators and apps that use the same products and customers.

Can you build apps for iOS and Android?

Yes. We are building Hand & Lock's embroidery school app, with live courses, for both.

How do you scope something that does not exist yet?

We map how the work is done today, find the slow and error-prone steps, and agree what the first version must do. Then we fix the scope and the price.
